2024 saw the return of Border Lacemakers to Tredegar House, Newport demonstrating lacemaking 3 times throughout the year on the first Saturday of May, July and September. It’s such a buzz to get the visitors to have a go on the practice pillow.

As with other groups all our activities and plans were shelved this year. We’d like to wish all our members a Happy Christmas despite the Covid restrictions. Stay safe, make lace and we’ll meet again one day…..

Our 30th Anniversary party is being held at the June meeting, Saturday 2nd 2018, in Goytre. Borders Lacemakers would like to invite all members past and present to join us in celebrating. Come for the day or just drop in for a chat, there’ll be plenty of tea and cake. Dress code: pearls!
